Zach's first time to the dentist

We took Zach to see the dentist for the very first time today. We went to Granger Pediatric Dentistry and they were awesome. He played in the jungle in the waiting room until they called him back to the chair...they took two X-rays of Zach's teeth. He sat very good on mom's lap and didn't bite the nurses fingers when she put the film in his mouth. Then he watche Toy Story while he got his teeth cleaned and looked at the fish in the fish tank while we waited for the dentist. The dentist said he had really great teeth and that he was doing a great job brushing them.

Trip to urgent care

For the most part Zach has been healthy, active, and as tough as they come. He rarely cries even when he hits his head or falls. So when he was crying a little at my mom's when he was playing in the kids room I went up to sew what was wrong thinking someone may have taken the toy he was playing with. When I got there is said he had fallen down so I went to give him a hug and kiss so he would be all better and could go on playing. When I took my hand off of the back of his head it was covered in blood. This is the time that I start crying and yelling for my mom. I hate blood and the sight of it on my little guy is more then I can handle. My sister Suzanne came up with my mom and took me away to calm down while my mom looked at Zach's injury. She decided that we should take him into the urgent care to see if he would need stitches. I tried to compose myself and was able to hold him in the car while my mom drove to the doctor. Zach had stopped crying and let the nurse and doctor look at him, clean him up and put the one staple in his head with very little fuss. As soon as the started to wrap his head with a bandage he cried. I only cried a little at the doctor's office and was very glad that my mom was there to help.

All better

Too much blood for mom to handle, poor boy.

About Us

Gordon and I dated a little over a year in high school and then broke up after we graduated. We both got married and had kids. Gordon's daughter is named Kimiko Lee and my son is named Zachary Taylor. We both seperated from our spouses and one day ran into each other. The rest as they say is history. Our kids started playing together while we hung out and caught up. It didn't take long before we fell back in love. Gordon is an electrician and as of late I have been a stay at home mom. I haven't given up looking for a job and lots of days staying home makes me crazy. But, I love spending time with Zach. He loves dinosaurs and learning. We spend a lot of time practing numbers and letters and writing. We play with bugs and make messes. When he learns something new I get the best feeling in the world. Kimi loves everything princess and is very much a daddy's girl. We also each had a dog from our previous relationships, Bugg and Brutus. So our house is pretty full and someone is always causing some sort of ruckus. But, there is also a lot of love and laughing and I wouldn't have it any other way.
